Trader Score

Trader Score Rule At Alpha Trader Firm, we have introduced a performance-based metric called the Trader Score to assess how balanced and well-distributed a trader’s profitability is over time. This rule helps us determine the sustainability of a trader’s approach before approving any withdrawals. What is the Trader Score? The Trader Score evaluates the impact of a trader’s highest single-day profit in relation to their overall realized profit. A lower score indicates that profits were earned through multiple trading sessions rather than a single peak day. Trader Score Formula: Trader Score = (Highest Single-Day Profit / Lifetime Accumulated Realized PnL) × 100 This percentage reflects how heavily your trading success depends on your highest profit day. Example (Using a $100,000 Account): - Highest Single-Day Profit: $4,000 - Lifetime Accumulated Realized PnL: $12,000 Trader Score = (4,000 / 12,000) × 100 = 33.33 Trader Score = 33.33 This means 33.33% of your total profit was generated in a single day. The lower the percentage, the more evenly your trading performance is distributed. Minimum Trader Score Requirements To request a payout, traders must meet the following Trader Score thresholds: - Three-Step Challenge Accounts: Maximum Trader Score of 40% - Two-Step Challenge Accounts: Maximum Trader Score of 40% - One-Step Challenge Accounts: Maximum Trader Score of 40% - Instant Funding Accounts: Maximum Trader Score of 20% If your Trader Score exceeds the allowed threshold, you will need to continue trading until the ratio improves. Note: This rule only applies to funded accounts. It is not enforced during the evaluation or challenge phases. Why This Rule Matters This rule encourages traders to build their profits steadily rather than relying on large, isolated gains. By focusing on measured, repeatable results, the Trader Score helps ensure that payout eligibility is earned through a well-rounded trading performance. The Trader Score is monitored for all funded accounts only and must be within the required limit to process any withdrawal request.

Is the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) or Copy trading allowed?

Is the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) or AI trading allowed? We understand that many traders utilize Expert Advisors (EAs) or AI trading systems to enhance their trading strategies. To balance the benefits of automated trading with the need for risk management, we have specific guidelines regarding the use of EAs and AI trading: Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Challenge - Allowed: During Phase 1 and Phase 2 of our trading challenge, traders are permitted to use Expert Advisors (EAs) and AI trading systems. This allows you to showcase your trading skills and strategies, including automated systems, to pass the evaluation stages. Funded Stage Not Allowed: Once you reach the funded stage, the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) and AI trading systems is not permitted. At this stage, we require manual trading to ensure that all trading decisions are made by the trader without the influence of automated systems. Is Copy Trading Allowed at Alpha Trader Firm? No, copy trading is strictly prohibited in both the challenge phases and the funded stage. This includes mirroring trades from other accounts, third-party signals, or any form of trade automation that replicates another trader’s strategy. Engaging in copy trading will result in an immediate hard breach and permanent loss of the account, with no eligibility for a reset or refund. All trading activity must reflect your own independent decision-making. These guidelines help us manage risks and ensure that funded traders are consistently making informed and responsible trading decisions. If you have any questions or need further clarification regarding the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) or AI trading systems, please contact our support team. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.

Is there any maximum risk rule?

Maximum Risk Rule At our firm, we prioritize responsible trading practices to support long-term success. Here’s how the Maximum Risk Rule is structured: Two-Phase Challenges and One-Step Challenges • These account types have no maximum risk rule, allowing traders to manage their risk according to their preferred strategy without restriction. Instant Funding Accounts For Instant Funding Accounts, the Maximum Risk Rule is as follows: 1. Risk: Traders are limited to risking a maximum of 1% of their total account balance. • Trades on the same symbol will be paired and counted as a single trade when calculating the 1% maximum risk. 2. Floating Profit and Loss (PnL): • Your floating PnL must not exceed a negative 1% of your total account size at any point. • If your floating PnL falls below this threshold, it indicates your losses have surpassed the allowable limit. As a result, the account will be immediately closed due to a rule breach. Why This Rule for Instant Funding Accounts? • Instant Funding offers immediate access to trading, bypassing challenge phases. With this privilege comes the necessity for stricter safeguards. • The Maximum Risk Rule, including the limit on floating PnL, protects both traders and the account balance, encouraging disciplined trading and maintaining account longevity. Note: This rule applies only to Instant Funding Accounts. Other account types do not have a maximum risk requirement, offering more flexibility in trading strategies.

Minimum Trading Days

At our firm, we emphasize consistent and profitable trading to foster disciplined practices. To ensure fairness and accurately evaluate performance, we have established a Minimum Trading Days Requirement for specific account types. Minimum Trading Days Requirement - OneStep (1Step) Accounts: Traders must achieve at least 7 minimum profitable days within a 30-day period once they are in the funded stage to remain eligible for withdrawal. - Instant Funded Accounts: Traders must achieve at least 10 minimum profitable days within a 30-day period to be eligible for withdrawals. Definition of a Minimum Profitable Day A minimum profitable day is defined as a day when the trader's profit is at least 0.50% of the account balance. How It Works 30-Day Periods - The 30-day period begins on the day of your first trade. Counting Profitable Days - Only days with a profit of at least 0.50% of the account balance count toward the 7-day OR 10-day minimum. - Losses or profit below 0.50% on a trading day will not count. Rule Violation Failing to meet the minimum profitable days or minimum trading days requirement within the 30-day period will result in a rule violation. All rule violations are subject to a hard breach. Why This Rule Matters This requirement ensures traders engage with the market meaningfully and demonstrate consistent profitability, aligning with the professional standards we uphold. By fostering deliberate and strategic trading, this rule creates an environment where both traders and the firm can succeed.

Multiple Profiles & IPs

We only allow traders to register a single profile with us at Seven. Creating multiple profiles, including using different email addresses for the same person, is not permitted and could affect your ability to become a funded trader or participate in any giveaways or anything we do with our traders. Maintaining one account ensures compliance with our policies and provides a fair trading environment for all participants. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact our support team via live chat . IP Addresses within Seven You are free to use Different IPs of your Different Devices in your location. However, We only look out for multiple accounts using the same IP, and Multiple Locations showing up on a Trades IP Log showing differences. Please note that even though our rules around IP’s are flexible for multiple devices of one user and everyone nowadays has multiple ways to go online, we also look at CID which is a computer ID. This is an ID that is tied to a specific device. If multiple users are attached to the same CID, this could raise concerns for us related to prohibited trading activity/account management/KYC issues. The location of your IP address(es) used to log into your CHALLENGE or FUNDED account must remain consistent. If our Internal Team detects a change in location, they may reach out to you to confirm and request proof, such as a plane ticket, passport stamp, or live video from the location. This measure is in place to protect you from third-party vendors. If you anticipate traveling, kindly notify our support team beforehand to keep us informed and prevent interference from our end.
